🔻Viking's GLP1 pill delivered disappointing results... right?

The media is overly negative on VK2735 -- we think they're wrong.

Last month Viking Therapeutics which works on VK2735, a GLP1 pill, delivered some results which disappointed shareholders.

With the recent emphasis and buzz around GLP1 pills in development from Eli Lilly (Orforglipron), Novo Nordisk (Wegovy pill) and others, a closer examination of the data and comparison is a good idea — investors were disappointed with Viking’s results, but we don’t think patients and GLP1 users should be be!
